Lake Garda drops off steeply to the north — rocky walls directly on the water, mountain ridges on both sides. To the south, the basin opens up towards the Po Valley and the view stretches widely across the lake. This geography creates very different vantage points: deep alpine vistas in the north, broad panoramas in the south.
This guide presents the ten best vantage points on Lake Garda — with precise directions on access, travel times, and ideal moments for sunrise and sunset.
If you want to take home an authentic souvenir of your visit to Lake Garda, visit our Terre del Garda shops around the lake.
